Everyone knows the Revel staff is comprised of some pretty creative folks. No, wait – scratch that. Insanely creative folks. We like to have fun. A lot of fun. And we definitely enjoy what we do, and the clients we do it for. We’re passionate.

But, everyone knows that. What about the things you probably don’t know? In our “Get to Know a Reveler” series, we’ll share with you the interesting hobbies, bizarre quirks, and unique choices in life theme songs. It’s everything you wanted to know, and more.

First up is Revel Creative Director and Partner, Chris Jarratt. We sat down with Chris to discover all the things you probably didn’t know about this mac-n-cheese lovin’ creative. Read on to learn about Chris’ secret to happiness, the power of Orcas, and his connection to a famous treasure hunter.

Creativity. If I can’t be creative I’m not happy.

What do you love most about your job?

The people I work with.

Do you have any nicknames around the office?

Not that I’m aware of but I’m sure I’m called all kinds of things.

How would your best friend describe you?

He’s a good hang.

Tell us a unique fact about yourself that few people would know.

I lived next door to the treasure hunter Mel Fisher, who discovered the Atocha.

What food do you crave most?

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Predict the future.

What is your favorite book of all time?

A Brief History of Time.

Do you have any special (or strange) talents?

I’m an above average rapper for a white 35 year-old, which still makes me a very bad rapper. That doesn't seem to deter me from rapping while at work though.

If you had to choose a theme song for your life, what would it be?

The theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

If you could meet anyone – living or dead – who would you choose?

The title of your personal autobiography would be?

The Man, the Myth, the Legend.

If Revel were an animal, what would it be and why?

An Orca because that is my spirit animal.
